Eliane Marti
Eliane Marti is associate Professor at the Vetsuisse Faculty of the University of Bern. She is head of the Clinical Immunology Group. Her present research focuses on the immunopathogenesis of allergic diseases of horses, in particular of Culicoides hypersensitivity, and on ways to improve in vitro diagnostics and treatment of these diseases. Her studies are funded by various grants, in particular of the Swiss National Science Foundation and Morris Animal Foundation. She has written over 100 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and tutored over 25 doctoral thesis and PhDs.
