Francesca Abramo
Abramo Francesca graduated with honours from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Pisa in 1986. In the postgraduate years (1988-1989) she was "Assistant Professor" at the Institute of Veterinary Pathology in Berne and carried out a visiting fellowship at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Guelph (Ontario, Canada). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Veterinary Sciences in Pisa and a lecturer in general veterinary pathology. For several years the main areas of activity have been dermatopathological, cytological and oncological diagnostics of companion animals. Over the years, she has participated as a speaker in numerous national and international congresses and has taken part in national and international seminars on pathological topics (particularly dermatopathology). She is the author of more than 200 scientific articles published in international journals of proven scientific impact and national journals, presentations at national and international congresses, book chapters and author of a book on Dermatological Diseases published by UTET. He is a member of SIDEV, SCIVAC, AIPVET, ESVD and ISVD. He is a past president of the Italian Society of Veterinary Dermatology (SIDEV).
