Manolis Saridomichelakis
Manolis Saridomichelakis, DVM, PhD, Dip ECVD
Dr Manolis Saridomichelakis graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (1992), where he also completed his PhD Thesis on canine atopic dermatitis (1995-1998). From 2002 to 2006 he joined the faculty as a Lecturer and then he moved to the School of Veterinary Science, University of Thessaly, where he is currently Professor of Companion Animal Medicine. In 2011 he became board-certified Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology. He has published more than 190 review, clinical and research articles in scientific journals or full Congress Proceedings, he is the author or co-author of 3 international book chapters, and he has presented lectures in 112 national and 42 international scientific events. His main research interests include leishmaniosis and allergic skin diseases of dogs and cats.
