Ramón Almela
Ramón Almela graduated in Veterinary Medicine and obtained a PhD degree at the University of Murcia (Spain). After completing his dermatology training residency at a private referral hospital in Germany, he obtained his board certification from the European College of Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD). Currently he is working as Assistant Professor in the veterinary Dermatology Service at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine (Boston, USA). Dr. Almela is passionate about precision medicine, skin allergies and autoimmune diseases, the use of cold plasma therapeutics in veterinary dermatology, providing best care for his patients and teaching and One Health approach. Professional wishes include collaboration "without borders" among healthcare providers and enjoys share information and discuss topics and cases with colleagues and students and advancing veterinary dermatology.
